The MX4 Pro is revealed officially by Meizu today in China at a dedicated launch party. 2560×1536 is the pixel resolution of phone whose display is 5.5” Sharp-made. 542ppi is the pixel density of bezels which are just 2.8mm wide.
A Samsung Exynos 5430 chipset with a quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex A-7 and 2GHz quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU, 3GB RAM and Mali-T628 MP6 GPU are present under the hood of the Meizu MX4 Pro. Internal memory is without any microSd card slot and available in 16, 32 and 64GB flavors.
There is a 5MP selfie camera at the front while a 20.7MP Sony-made primary camera along dual LED flash is available at the back.
Though there is no IR blaster but the phone contains TD-LTE and FDD-LTE both networks with the same radio. The connectivity features include NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.0.
Fixed in the home button below the display, there also includes a fingerprint sensor in the MX4 Pro. According to Meizu, 0.5s is its response time while 360 degrees is the identification angle.
Android 4.4 kitkat is the operating system of the phone. $410 is the base price of MX4 Pro while its sale will start in China from 6th December 2014.
